Testimonials

"This B&B is set in a wonderfully quiet location with beautiful gardens, a water fall and friendly ducks. We were offered a choice of one of two rooms but chose the green room overlooking the garden.
The green room was one of the most tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean rooms . that I have ever stayed in. There was an impressive range of teas, coffee, bottled water etc available. The en-suite contained bath and shower.
The breakfast was taken in the conservatory overlooking the garden.

The breakfast choice was varied.and the English breakfast cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, I left my tablets in the green room and these were returned by post to me today - thank you, this was very much appreciated.
This is a B&B where no expense is spared -

Great B and B in lovely location (bike friendly)”

Rooms are spacious, well appointed and the breakfast was really excellent, taken in a conservatory overlooking a beautifully kept garden
When we arrived went for tea and cake at the attached Stained Glass Centre which was also excellent
We arrived on bikes and the owner was happy to lock these away for us in a secure place.

Stayed June 2015, travelled with friend.

*Large twin room with lovely appointed rooms with antiques, large bath with separate tub and shower, great breakfast, with gracious hosts and her family stained glass studio and tea room annex with great glass for sale, certainly a B & B that requires another visit

Hosts were wonderful - welcoming, friendly and very hospitable. Accommodation beautiful, very comfortable, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was exceptionally good, and the garden is beautiful. Stayed July 2015, travelled with family.

We stayed here after finishing the Cleveland Coastal Path and it was pure luxury after 5 days of walking. Very comfortable and every little detail appeared to have been thought of. I think it is probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a B&B and served in a very pleasant conservatory overlooking a lovely garden. Very friendly and welcoming.
